Hi Dolphins! 

We are taking a brief breather from competing in the pool this week, but we have plenty of action happening on deck—including diving into team pictures and a delicious way to support the pod.

Please scan the schedule carefully, as our practice waters look a little different over the next few days.

📅 Schedule Adjustments: Navigating This Week's Waters

• Wednesday, June 17: NO PRACTICE (All dolphins on deck at 8:15am for Picture Day!)
• Friday, June 19: NO PRACTICE (In observance of Juneteenth)
• Saturday, June 20: NO MEET THIS WEEK (Enjoy the weekend!)

🌙 Evening Practice Pods

Need to migrate to evening practice? You must lock in your spot by the Friday prior by signing in at the Del Norte Front Desk.

Coaches' Note: These sessions are specially staffed based on headcount and swimmer ability. If you sign up, your swimmer must attend so our coaches aren’t left stranded on an empty deck. Thank you for helping us keep these running smoothly!

📸 Team Picture Day: Wednesday, June 17

Everything you need to know to get your Dolphin camera-ready. Time to shine up those racing suits!

• When: Wednesday, June 17 starting at 8:15 AM
• What to wear/bring: Del Norte Dolphins racing suit, your paper order form, or a digital proof of your online order confirmation.
• Deck Policy: Parents and guardians, please help us keep the pool deck clear (including the snack bar area). Kindly utilize the grass areas for waiting.

⏱️ Order of Events & Photo Flow

1. Check-In: Starts at 8:15 AM.

• If your Dolphin is taking individual pictures, cruise over to the table at the tennis lounge to pick up a number. Every individual swimmer needs one if they are taking solo pictures. 
• If you are only doing the team photo, skip this step and go straight to lining up with your age group.

2. The Whole Pod Picture: 9:00 AM Sharp!

• All swimmers line up with their age groups from shortest to tallest in their designated area starting at 8:15. The flash goes off promptly at 9:00 AM for the whole pod. 
• If you are only in the group picture, you are free to splash on home after this!

3. Individual Shots: Post-Group Photo

• Swimmers will re-line up in numerical order based on the number they were given at check-in.

4. Buddy Photos: Final Splash

• Group up with your swim besties and line back up. 

🍕 Tuesday Night Dine-Out Fundraiser!

Dry off, skip the cooking this Tuesday, June 16th, and feed the pod at Mark and Monica’s! A portion of all pizza proceeds swims right back into supporting our team.

• 📸 Wednesday, June 17: Picture Day! No practices. Arrival and individual check-in begins at 8:15 AM; group photo at 9:00 AM sharp.
• 🏁 Saturday, June 27: Home Meet vs. Laguna Creek - please declare as soon as possible.
• 🍦 Wednesday, July 8: Tie-Dye & Ice Cream Day
• 🏁 Saturday, July 11: Home Meet vs. Fair Oaks - please declare as soon as possible!
  • We will also be hosting a special senior recognition ceremony between the short freestyle and backstroke events. Please join us on the pool deck during this time to honor our wonderful graduating seniors!
